Royal Wedding Prayer

As a gift to the royal couple, and to celebrate their Royal Wedding on April 29, 2011, the Cathedral Choir recorded Celtic Prayer, composed by the Nova Scotia (Cape Breton) composer and organist, Barry Peters (b. 1959). This beautiful, contemporary setting of a very old text is frequently sung by the Choir as a Benediction at the close of Choral Eucharist. The link to a web performance of this piece is below:
