World Day of Prayer
The Cathedral is looking to host a service and fellowship opportunity for the World Day of Prayer, Fri. Mar. 6, 2026. A planning meeting to which representatives of other denominations are invited will be held Tues. Jan. 27; 1:30 - 3:30; Nursery. This year (2026), the writing committee is World Day of Prayer Nigeria: “I Will Give You Rest: Come”, which emphasizes rest and spiritual renewal, from the Gospel of Matthew 11:28-30. Chinyere Odo of our congregation will be helping us highlight features of Nigeria for this ecumenical event. To learn more about the World Day of Prayer and its umbrella organization in Canada, check out: https://wdpcanada.ca/world-day-of-prayer/ Please e-mail Cynthia at cjp2320@gmail.com if you are able to attend the planning meeting on Jan. 27.
